  2. Our team reviews submissions and verifies eligibility.
  3. Approved wishlists are put on a list for sponsors or donors.
  4. Gifts are collected, organized, and prepared by volunteers.
  5. Families will be contacted with pickup or delivery information closer to Christmas.

Some children may be placed on a waitlist until sponsorships become available. We will do our best to fulfill as many wishlists as possible.

To ensure support reaches the families who need it most, children registered with Storms Miracle Tree should be under the age of 18, reside within the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (KFL&A) region, and not be enrolled in another holiday assistance or gift program during the same season.

Our goal is to make Christmas brighter for as many local children as possible. If we have questions regarding eligibility, a member of our team may contact you for clarification.

To ensure gifts reach as many families as possible, please do not register if you are recieving holiday assistance through another program.

We work closely with other organizations and will be able to track duplicate registrations.

Attempting to recieve gifts from multiple programs may result in full removal from our program and others as well as being flagged for future seasons.

The legal names of both the child and the guardian are required for verification purposes only and will remain confidential.

Storms Miracle Tree offers pickup and delivery options within the KFL&A region thanks to our wonderful location sponsors and Jessica Hellard Real Estate Group who handles gift delivery.

Families will receive pickup or delivery details closer to the holiday season.

The registration deadline is put in place in order to make sure all children are sponsored in time for Christmas. 

We will still accept registrations past this deadline, however, your child may be added to the waitlist. Therefore a sponsor cannot be guaranteed.

Q. How will I know if my registration is approved?

A. We will only contact you if there is an issue with the registration. You can check the Sponsor page to find your wishlist after 48-72 hours.

Q. Can I register more than one child?

A. Yes. Each child must be registered separately so we can accurately match wishlists with sponsors.

Q. Are gifts guaranteed?

A. While we work hard to fulfill every wishlist, gift availability depends on sponsorships and donations recieved each season.

Q. What if I move or change my phone number?

A. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can update your information.

Q. Can I make changes after submitting my registration?

A. Please contact us if you would like to make changes. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but adjustments cannot always be guaranteed once sponsorship matching begins. 

Q. What if I miss the registration deadline?

A. Late registrations may be placed on a waitlist depending on available sponsorships and resources.
