Building a New Online Home for Storms Miracle Tree

Since its beginning, Storms Miracle Tree has relied heavily on social media to connect with families, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners. While Facebook has been an incredible tool for growing the program, it became clear that not everyone accesses information the same way.

As the program continued to grow, there was a need for a central place where information could be easily found, shared, and updated throughout the season. That’s where OWL Creative Company (formerly DenzyDesigns) stepped in.

As a long-time supporter of Storms Miracle Tree, creating this website was an opportunity to give back to a cause that has been close to the heart for years. Long before launching a design studio, there were countless hours spent helping behind the scenes—organizing wishlists, supporting volunteers, and assisting wherever needed to help make Christmas brighter for local families.

The goal of this website was simple: create a welcoming and accessible online home for Storms Miracle Tree.

Families should be able to find registration information without searching through months of social media posts. The registration process should feel clear, straightforward, and stress-free. Sponsors should be able to browse wishlists quickly and easily, without scrolling through endless Facebook updates. Volunteers, donors, and community partners should have one central place to find the information they need.

The website was designed to improve accessibility, organization, and communication while helping Storms Miracle Tree reach people who may not use social media at all. By creating a dedicated online presence, the program can continue growing its reach throughout the KFL&A region and connect with even more families, sponsors, businesses, and community supporters.
